We are looking forward to the continued growth of our association! Tryouts for Competitive Teams at the U13, U15, and U18 levels will take place in April/May 2026. Tryouts for the Senior Competitive Team will take place in September.
We have commitment from Lyle McNay as Head Coach for our U13 Competitive Team, Dennis Kelly as Head Coach for our U15 Competitive Team, Lucas Horsman as Head Coach for our U18 Competitive Team, and Tim Butson as Head Coach for our Senior Competitive Team. Should the need arise for additional head coaches at any of these levels, we will do our best to fill those spots in a timely manner.
At this time, the tryout schedule has not been finalized. The exact dates and times for tryouts will be shared in early April, so that the schedule will reflect the number of tryout skates necessary at each level based upon registrations. Please register early so we can plan the tryout schedule appropriately.
All players and goalies wishing to be considered for a spot on the competitive team are expected to attend all tryout skates offered for their age level, unless told otherwise by the coaching staff.
Tryout Registration for U13/U15/U18 Competitive Teams will open March 24, 2026. Due to ice limitations this year, tryouts will take place outside of the Almaguin region. However, practices and home games for our competitive teams will take place in the Almaguin region during the regular season.
